Encroachment of Common Area
We note that some residents have placed their personal items such as shoe racks and potted plants at the common corridor. They are not only potential fire hazards, in some cases they could obstruct the fire escape passageway and staircases if there is an emergency. It may also violate the Fire Safety Guidelines set by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
We wish to remind all residents to keep their personal belongings within the apartment units and keep the common area clutter-free. The Management will not accept any liabilities, whatsoever, for loss or damage to any personal item including but not limited to bicycles, benches, flowerpots, shoe racks, shoes (among other things) left in any part of the common area.
We seek the kind cooperation of all residents for the safety of everyone living in your neighbourhood.
We have received feedback from lower floor units that they have found items such as tissue, toys, wrappers cigarette butts, cigarette ashes and even long stick (shown in picture) on their Personal Enclosed Space (PES) / balcony. These items are not only unhygienic and also safety hazard.
We seek your co-operation and understanding to refrain from doing such act. If your family member has been doing such acts, please educate them the serious consequences of their inconsiderate behaviour. In addition, please keep your belongings properly.
We trust that with everyone’s effort, we can make communal living in Ripple Bay a pleasant and safe one for all to live in.
Please feel free to contact the Management Office at Tel: +65 6384 6765 if you need further clarifications.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
